JACKSUN E71T - 1C

MILD STEEL FLUX CORED WIRE FOR MIG/MAG WELDING

CLASSIFICATION: AWS A/SFA 5.20, E71T-1C

Why Flux Cored Wires?

In Flux cored arc welding (FCAW) process , the heat for welding is produced by an electric arc between a continuous filler metal electrode and the work piece.  Flux cored electrode makes the welding process unique.  It is designed to be used with CO2 gas shielding.

The flux cored wire consist of an outer shell of metal with flux inside the metal shell.

The core material can be either an alloy or a mixture of chemicals.

Other advantages of FCAW are as follows:

  • Alloying Addition Possible.
  • High-quality Weld Metal Deposit
  • Low Hydrogen Weld Deposit
  • Resistant To Under Bead Cracking
  • Reduce Distortion Rate
  • Effective Protection Of The Weld From The Atmosphere
  • Easy Slag Removal And Less Spatter
